Will you read a newspaper in 2014..?

A few weeks ago Leon Krijnen wrote the column "In ten years newspapers are gone...". Not everbody agreed with that thought. Earlier this year Robin Sloan and Matt Thompson gave us people a quick peek in the future history of the media. They called it EPIC 2014. The project EPIC 2014 tells us that in 2014 the New York Times will go offline.
At that time no one reads the papers anymore because most people are 24 hours a day connected to the internet with a PC, cellphone, PDA or other new stuff to get on-line. By then everybody gets personally-edited news from a collection of niche news sites.
Newspaperscompany's will be closed one by one and journalists will blog about the news.
Only journalists will blog the news? No way! These days everybody can starts a blog. Why not start a niche news site yourself?

Will you read a newspaper in 2014?
